Come to Marina beach and you will find people of all ages playing in the beach water, building sand castles or just sitting around and gazing into the sea. During nightfall, the place becomes cold, calm and serene and this is the best time to relax and enjoy here.

Elliot’s beach is located nearer to the heart of the city and it is in Besant Nagar. People also know it as Besant Nagar Beach. The sand is abundant here and the water level is just right to play inside. There is a temple nearby the beach and also a church just near the temple. This shows people that we all can live in peace and harmony even if we follow different faiths.

One of the attraction points of the beach is that there are several eating joints, cafes, ice-cream parlours and small restaurants just outside the beach. This beach is the best hangout point to sit and relax and witness the beauty of nature. Sunrise and sunset is a must-view scene here.

On the way to Mahabalipuram is Covelong beach. Now, this beach is located along the Coromandel Coast and has shimmering sand, sparkling water and serene atmosphere. You will find many water sport activities to your liking here.
